The Certification Institute's (CI) mission is to promote industry professionalism and best practices by developing and administering certification programs in an objective and reliable manner that brings value to the industry, to its participating members and to the public it serves. CI specializes in working with industry representatives to identify important best practices (for industry member companies) and/or professional qualifications (for individual industry professionals). Teams of industry experts can be organized and meetings facilitated to develop credible ways of certifying compliance.

Once the appropriate best practices/professional qualifications and related certification procedures are established and approved by the industry, CI can assist with beta testing and validation of the reliability of the certification process.
